Martha and Jonathon Hegarty were my parents and I was their mild-mannered foster son. Eventually I grew up after attending schools. Then I bought my first camera, and took pictures with it. Later I got married and lost my camera. A few years ago, I bought a digital camera and the rest is history, and until now this history has never been published. My creative process begins with a digital photographic image. By manipulating the digital image file I have been able to achieve an almost watercolor texture and feel for my work. I am a Civil Engineer in my day job, and my trusty Nikon is usually in my back seat. Most of these images were captured within walking distance of my parked car. If I didn't have to work for a living, and dote upon my wife's every wish, I'd probably do more art-related stuff. So, if you buy a lot of my work, I will be encouraged to do more of it, but not enough that I have to give up golf. Enjoy!
